I finished this just over New Year. It kept me busy (and sane) over Christmas. The wool is Cascade Ecological and I knitted it on 6mm needles. However, next time, if I use the same wool, I'll use 5mm to make a slightly tighter fabric. This was a really easy knit and a very well written pattern, which you can find here on Ravelry.
However, I LOVE it. I only took it off (after four days) because I want to keep it clean for my trip to London.
I also had time to work on the beret which I gave to my niece for Christmas. I suspect it was just a tiny bit small but it should stretch. I will use slightly bigger needles next time. Pattern here.
Not a brilliant photo but it was taken in the kitchen drawer so that I had a white background. The wool is sock wool and the blue/pink was the leftover from a pair of socks. Great fun but a huge amount of concentration!
