It seems I forgot to show you this finished object. The wool is again from The Black Sheep, Rowan Aran Tweed. It's a bit stringy but really soft once it's made up. The pattern is Norah Gaughan's Cabled Vest and was straightforward and easy to understand...ON CONDITION THAT YOU READ THE NECK INSTRUCTIONS A DOZEN TIMES AND FOLLOW THEM TO THE LETTER!
I made it because I wanted something to keep the chill off during the "I'm not sure if it's spring or summer". Needless to say this year decided to be summer back in April - but I've worn it endlessly anyway.
