Soon after I was given my loom I bought some Noro yarns from a fellow Raveler. Noro is not something I buy often but it is gorgeous and always colourful. I have used them to make two cowls which I have just put in the shop together with a couple of scarves.
These were really fun to make. I found the instructions on-line (what did we do before internet please?) and once I had the warp on it was quite quick. The only problem was that the wool kept catching on itself so I had to be careful not to break the warp. I have two more balls of Noro and I am looking for a yarn to complement it so that I can make a third one.
These are absolutely gorgeous to wear. Made from a mix of mohair, silk, wool and nylon, they are very soft and wonderful to keep the neck warm during the spring period. And, of course, very colourful! Let me know what you think.
