Don't you love BBC Radio 4 announcers?
Anyone who takes on the Marathon distance knows that it is important not to go too fast for the first half or you run the risk of running out of any will to live somewhere around the 22 mile mark. I've run two marathons and I know this is true.
I am very pleased to hear, thanks to the BBC Radio 4 News Bulletin on Saturday evening, that Mo Farah has taken this advice to heart. Obviously, having won two Olympic Golds in London in 2012, he is well used to listening to trainers, coaches, etc. The report was as follows:
"Mo Farah, the double Olympic Champion, is hoping to run half of this year's London Marathon in two months."
Go Mo, GO!!
