Oh, what a beast! The due date was mid-February but this beauty arrived two months early, the week before Christmas! With 16 shafts it is computer controlled. I can weave more complicated patterns without worrying about the order of the treadling. Less mistakes. I still have my Louet Spring but will use it for more straightforward patterning.
This Snowflake pattern is an example. The treadling is not the most complicated in the world but it has plenty of potential for errors. On the Megado this is, almost, removed. I say almost because of course I am still getting used to the computer programme - Fiberworks in this case - and occasionally miss something, but it is a joy to use.
This will once again be a shawl. I had a lot of interest in the first one I made and was immediately commissioned to make a second one. This one is for the next sale where I hope it will be equally popular.
